Dr Graham Davey is among Britain’s most distinguished psychologists working in the study of anxiety and worry. He is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Sussex, and the current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Experimental Psychopathology.
Dr Davey’s career, which has spanned several decades, has yielded 16 books, including the acclaimed The Anxiety Epidemic. He has written more than 150 articles for scientific or professional journals. Other senior editorial appointments have included roles with Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology and Behavioral and Brain Sciences.
Dr Davey has served as President of the British Psychological Society. He has been Chair of the Standing Conference Committee with the same institution, and Honorary Editor of The Psychologist.
Dr Davey’s research into anxiety has been featured by mainstream media including in Time, The Daily Telegraph, The Financial Times, Business Insider and many others, and he has a regular Psychology Today blog.
