Dr Sophie Bergeron is Canada research chair in Intimate Relationships and Sexual Wellbeing at the University of Montreal. She runs the Sexual Health Laboratory and is a full professor in the Department of Psychology. An expert in sexual health, Dr Bergeron developed group and couple cognitive-behavioral interventions for women with vulvodynia and their partners. Dr Bergeron is an associate editor for the Archives of Sexual Behavior and is currently focused on evaluating variables and interventions for painful intercourse.
