Dr Craig Malkin is a clinical psychologist and lecturer at Harvard Medical School.
Through his private practice, YM Psychotherapy & Consultation, Inc, Dr Malkin brings two decades of clinical experience in helping people live richer lives, particularly when it comes to changing painful romantic relationship patterns.
His career includes lecturing at Harvard Medical School and time as Chief Psychologist at Harvard Medical School’s Cambridge Hospital. Dr Malkin has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
In his book, Rethinking Narcissism, Dr Malkin offers a new picture, educating about the full spectrum of narcissism and how stereotypes around this trait are exactly that; stereotypes. Instead, he presents the idea that having an element of narcissism is essential for a solid sense of self. He followed this book with ‘The Narcissist Test’ and offers a nine-question self-assessment via his website.
