A trailblazing clinical psychologist, researcher and assistant professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School, Dr Laura Payne is known for her influential research into the neurobiological, behavioral and psychological biomarkers related to pain and best practice CBT-based treatments. She is the director of the Clinical and Translational Pain Research Laboratory and an associate psychologist at Adult Outpatient Services at McLean Hospital, named America’s number one for psychiatric care in 2022 by the U.S. News and World Report.
