Dr Cindy-Lee Dennis is a highly respected psychiatrist and researcher who has dedicated her career to helping parents maintain optimal health in order to ensure the wellbeing of their children. She has carried out trials and studies in this field for more than 25 years.
Dr Dennis is a Professor in the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. She also holds the Women’s Health Research Chair at Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute, St Michael’s Hospital.
Dr Dennis is well-published in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored Postpartum Depression: A Guide for Front-line Health and Social Service Providers.
Dr Dennis developed the Breast-Feeding Self-Efficacy Scale, which is employed across the world and her work is regularly featured across mainstream media including The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, The Los Angeles Times, The Toronto Star, CBC, CTV and many more.
