David Forman is a licensed medical social worker and long-serving clinical research assistant at Columbia University. His key interest areas include Motivational Interviewing and behavioral activation in the treatment of substance use disorders, gambling and depression. Alongside Dr Theresa Moyers, David has explored the role of directionality in MI, early treatment predictors and the utility of MI in first psychotherapy sessions.
