Dr Simon B. Goldberg is a researcher, academic and innovator in the field of mindfulness and meditation. His work is devoted to the clinical application of these practices, as well as psychotherapy generally and the mental health of veterans. He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Counseling Psychology and Affiliate Faculty at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Dr Goldberg is particularly interested in exploring the effects of and mechanisms underlying meditation and mindfulness-based interventions, including mobile health technology. His work has been supported by funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Mind & Life Institute, and the American Psychological Association's Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy (Division 29).

Dr Goldberg's research has been widely published in academic journals, including Perspectives on Psychological Science, Clinical Psychology Review, Psychological Assessment and Journal of Counseling Psychology. He has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Counseling Psychology, Psychotherapy, and Psychotherapy Research.
