James Furrow, PhD, is a respected leader and innovator of Emotionally
Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples and families. He is a Certified Family
Life Educator and co-founder of the EFT Center of Los Angeles. A prolific author, James has developed a series of resources that guide therapists, couples and families through the research and practice of EFT. His latest title, Becoming an Emotionally Focused Therapist: The Workbook, is a collaboration with Dr Sue Johnson that explores recent advances in attachment science and EFT practice. James has led instrumental research for over 20 years with special interests in couple therapy, positive youth
development, psychological resilience and spirituality.
