Dr Abigail Gewirtz is a child psychologist and foundation professor in the Department of Psychology at Arizona State University. With expertise in families under stress, she is devoted to developing and delivering initiatives that promote child resilience, skills development and strong family networks. Dr Gewirtz’ award-winning program, Adaptive Parenting Tools has helped healthcare personnel whose parenting has been affected by COVID-19. Her latest book, When the World Feels Like a Scary Place, helps anxious parents and children find wholeness and security.
