Professor Bunmi O. Olatunji is Gertrude Conaway Vanderbilt Professor of Psychology at Vanderbilt University. He is also Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Director of Clinical Training, and Director of the Emotion and Anxiety Research Laboratory.

Professor Olatunji is an esteemed psychologist with a growing body of groundbreaking work. Among his main areas of expertise are ethical issues in exposure-based treatments, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) related to anxiety and the relationship between disgust and anxiety disorder symptoms. He is also interested in the emotions inherent to the etiology of anxiety pathology.

Professor Olatunji is the editor of the book The Cambridge Handbook of Anxiety and Related Disorders and a co-author of Introduction to Clinical Psychology: Bridging Science and Practice. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including in the Journal of Affective Disorders and Behaviour Research and Therapy.

Among several awards that Professor Olatunji has received is the American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology.
