Professor Trudie Chalder is an expert in the psychosocial and behavioral aspects of long-term health conditions. She is a professor of cognitive behavioral psychotherapy and director of the Persistent Physical Symptoms Research and Treatment Unit. Professor Chalder’s main research area is the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treating the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).
