Professor Edmund J. Sonuga-Barke is a Professor of Developmental Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London.

Professor Sonuga-Barke is a widely respected and highly experienced developmental psychologist and the author of several books. His main areas of interest are neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health conditions across the lifespan, with a particular interest in child and adolescent Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In addition, he seeks to identify underlying genetic and environmental risk factors and resilience sources.

Professor Sonuga-Barke is one of the most highly cited researchers in psychology and psychiatry globally. His research has been published in journals such as The Lancet, PNAS, and American Journal of Psychiatry. He is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.
