Dr Lindsay Taliaferro is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She is a certified health education specialist with distinguished research in population health. Dr Taliaferro’s expertise lies particularly in suicide prevention, Non-suicidal Self-injury and LGBTQ+ youth. As a public health graduate, she incorporates broad epidemiological data in her studies and harnesses a strengths-based approach to assess factors that can protect adolescents against NSSI and suicide.
