Dr Brenna Maddox is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a clinical researcher and implementation scientist for the TEACCH Autism Program, Dr Maddox is dedicated to improving community services and support for people with autism. Her work is focused on training mental health practitioners and modifying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for people with autism experiencing depression or anxiety. She has a particular interest in preventing suicide in this population.
