James Furrow is an internationally recognised contributor to the practice of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples and families. Together with Sue Johnson he co-authored Becoming an EFT Therapist: The Workbook, and is co-editor of The EFT Casebook, as well as other EFT resources.
He is a clinical fellow and an approved supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Evelyn and Frank Freed Professor of Marital and Family Therapy, and Chair of the Department of Marriage and Family at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology.
Dr Furrow has an active research program examining the process of EFT and its outcomes with couples and families.
